Accredited Nurse Training for Food Clinics
Following four years research Fair is launching its Training Programme for Community and Practice Nurses to deliver Food Clinics.

The Clinics address the growing patient demand for help with food related problems. This is a key role for Nurses acting as coach and mentor to patients to address major problems on a sustainable basis.
The FAIR Nurse Training programme has been accredited by the Royal College of Nursing. It comprises a manual with full guidance including patient handout sheets, and patient progress recording.
The Training Programme for Community and Practice Nurses has been designed for groups of 6 typically drawn from across local PCT's. The programme runs in three half day sessions spread over 6 weeks. It is run locally, with sub groups of 6 to provide flexibility to nurses with choice of morning or afternoon.
Training is available for:
- groups of 6 from PCT's
- regional programmes for individual nurses
Fully supported training with clinic manuals and patient handouts.
Costs
- £425 for individual community and practice nurses

- London: 4 May - 17 June 2010
- Edinburgh / Inverness / Hawick: 8 March - 23 April
